Hosted dialer provider LiveVox, Inc. is giving some IT power up to call center tech departments thanks to its initial release of Config Manager.

Config Manager, a set of GUI configuration tools, wants to give users more control over the LiveVox product. The aim of granting users more power is to save time in customizing campaigns, for example. Ultimately, the quicker a call center's IT department can complete a task, the more productive the agents at the call center will be. Specific features in this version of Config Manager include: WAN deployment, integration APIs, and message editor, which lets users play around with the IVR scripts.

“For call center IT departments, Config Manager will drastically increase control and reduce the time needed to customize and configure new call centers, dialer groups, database integration and campaign strategies through a secure web GUI,” said Louis Summe, chief executive officer, in a statement. “As call center infrastructure increasingly resides in the network, LiveVox will deliver technology that is more integrated, flexible and gives greater control to meet business objectives.”

Additional releases of Config Manager are already in the works. Read more about this version here.
