It takes guts to be a collector.
The New York Post reports a Long Island debt-collection law firm is suing Alphonse “Allie Boy” Persico, the imprisoned boss of the Colombo crime family, for more than $34,000 in unpaid credit card bills.
“The suit is bound to be a new experience for Persico, who presumably became accustomed to demanding money rather than forking it over,” writes Alex Ginsberg and Kati Cornell for the Post.
Allie Boy is currently doing life in the federal pen.
